Your 2010 YA March Madness Champions

If you haven’t noticed yet, it’s April – which means our 2nd Annual YA March Madness Tournament has come to an end.  This year, the competition was intense.  Middle school and high school students across Goshen cast over 800 votes!  When Michael, Tabi and I finished counting all of the ballots, we had not 1, but 2 winners!  At Goshen Middle School, Rick Riordan’s The Last Olympian won by only 6 votes.  At Goshen High School, Suzanne Collin’s Catching Fire reigned supreme.  Needless to say, I was doing a victory dance in the workroom due to the outcome of the tournament.  Good job, teens of Goshen (not that I am biased toward the winners or anything)!

Also, congratulations are in store for Mercede G., Crystal F., Lily N., Skyler L. and Brett F. who won free books from GPL during the tournament.
