Food for Thought
Leah from Maple City Market took us on a trip to Hoke Farm, which is a community farm here in Goshen. While at Hoke Farm, we checked out the gardens and livestock. John and Ethan even tried a rather large piece of garlic – which you can see the hilarious facial expressions below! Then, back at good ol’ GPL, Leah showed us how to make basil pesto and sesame ginger carrots along with snap peas from food that we harvested from the gardens. Trust me, it definitely tastes better to eat locally!
